No. V1.0 does not use account registration or sign-in.

Does the app send my bills to a server?

In V1.0, bills and settings stay on your device. The app does not request INTERNET permission for core use and does not cloud-sync bill contents.

How is rate calculated?

Total cost ÷ usage for each bill period (for example $/kWh, $/therm, or $/gallon depending on utility and units).
